Health & Fitness Center

Health and fitness programs and services are available to Wahlco employees at Los Caballero Racquet and Sports Club. Los Cab is a 17 acre facility just minutes away in Fountain Valley on Newhope between Warner and Slater.

FACILITIES

Los Cab state-of-the-art fitness center includes:

• Tennis - 30 outdoor tennis courts and clubhouse, Tennis Academy and Tournament School.
• Fitness Center - Cardio and strength training rooms, separate free weight room.
• Racquetball/Handball Squash - 16 indoor racquetball/handball courts, 2 squash courts and pro shop.
• Aquatics Center - 50-meter Olympic pool, 30x60 training/therapy pool, 24x54 infant wading pool.
• Courts - 2 full court basketball courts, 2 arena soccer stadiums, indoor and sand volleyball courts.
• Youth Facility - 4,000 square foot youth center includes climbing wall, infant nursery (7 weeks-18 months), kids korner (ages 19 months-4 years), juniors jungle (ages 8-13), and junior sports complex with lounge, ping pong pavilion and game room (ages 8-13 years).
• Other Services - Sports bar, restaurant, and snack/smoothie bar, hair salon, physical therapy, massage center, martial arts center plus steam rooms, spas and saunas throughout the facility.

Training

The Los Cab staff is trained to design a health and fitness plan that is tailored to each individual’s current condition and goals. There are dozens of fitness programs to choose from: therapy centers, step aerobics, triathlon training, karate, basketball, free weights, volleyball and more. Enrollment includes a complimentary FitStart Fitness Evaluation and a follow-up program.

Learning Center

Over 40 classes per week include fitness training, nutrition seminars, tennis academy, ping pong academy, dance studio, martial arts, cycling, and mind/body classes. Classes designed to relieve stress and improve circulation include fundamentals of pilates, pilates, style mat class, yoga, and kickboxing.

Services

Los Cab offers fitness assessments, physical therapy, personal trainers, tanning beds, message and spa center, as well as catering services.

Program and Fees

Wahlco employees can enroll in one of three Los Cab programs through payroll deduction. Wahlco’s plan pays the following percentages of the regular membership rates:

LEVEL 1:

Provides the member with unlimited hours of aerobic classes, basketball, volleyball, free-weight room, fitness center, cardio and weight machines, fitness testing, workout programs, Olympic pool and aquatic programs, masters swim program, steam rooms, saunas, private and co-ed whirlpools, youth center and child care (Family Memberships only). Racquetball courts may be reserved on a pay-per-play basis.

LEVEL 2:

Includes everything in LEVEL 1 plus unlimited racquetball court time, racquetball rating clinics, racquetball challenge courts, and one free racquetball lesson from a resident pro.

LEVEL 3:

Includes everything in our LEVEL 2 plus unlimited tennis court time, match finder service, and tennis challenge courts.
