MEDICAL INSURANCE

Wahlco offers a choice of medical plans so that eligible employees can choose what is best for their family.

HMO

Anthem offers a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) where you must choose a Primary Care Physician. All non-emergency care must be directed through a PCP. No claim forms are required and referrals are necessary from the PCP if a specialist is required.

PPO

With the Anthem PPO plan, eligible employees have the freedom to go in and out of network for care. Eligible employees may use a PPO provider whose negotiated rates provide richer levels of benefits with claim forms filed by the providers. Services outside the PPO network are also obtainable; however a higher out of pocket expense will incur.

VISION CARE - BLUE VIEW VISION (ANTHEM BLUE CROSS)

Wahlco provides professional vision care and high quality lenses and frames through Blue View Vision, available by Anthem Blue Cross. Blue View Vision offers one of the largest vision care networks in the industry, with a wide selection of experienced ophthalmologists, optometrists, and opticians.
